Michael Joseph Comlish is a New York City artist who is interested in breaking through formal barriers of visual and performing arts. In his work, he strives to return to the original intention of great writers through strong ensembles.
Over a 10 year period in New York he has also heavily explored innovative and avant garde approaches. He is drawn to the themes of opposition and conflict within the mind, and how that extends to relationships, political systems, and philosophical constructs. His work often involves innovative use of space.
His work has been developed in the Guggenheim
Museum's
Works and Process
series.
